And so, Andrew’s going on practicum once again but this time to an environment that he can better relate to considering that he received his education from what I would call “branded schools”. Still, he’s normal in every aspect and very relational, something that I really respect although I can be extremely irritating and annoying when I converse with him. Heh!

Just to update you all, I have also applied to a “branded school” and I was telling people that I am still unsure of this move. Am I capable of handling such students? Would I feel for them as much as those students from the neighbourhood schools? These were the recurring questions that I have yet to find answers to. My main reason for applying to that particular school was because I seriously wanted some exposure to teaching Theatre Studies as a subject and not as something used in English education but whether the move was calculated is something that i am still unsure of.

Well, the application has been sent and they have called me down for an interview with the Principal and the Heads of Department of the Mathematics and Theatre faculties. It can be quite intimidating but I trust God for His provision and wisdom. I’ll see how it goes, yeah? But Andrew did provide some questions that I cannot help but ponder upon. He was telling me to prepare for the following questions,

“Do you see a future in the Arts in Singapore?”
“Do you think you are able to handle the demands and challenges of the IB curriculum?”

Seriously, I have yet to find my own answers for the above questions, needless to say, “model” answers (not that I believe in “model” answers)…
